Formal / Evening Dress FAQs
Do I need to make an appointment to try on formal dresses?
Yes! We work on an appointment basis so we can help you find the right dress for your event.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
You don't need to bring anything but if you wish, you can bring the heels you are going to be wearing on the night to ensure the length of the dress is right for you. However, we have heels in the shop to try on.
Do you hire out dresses?
No, we don't hire out our formal dresses.
Can you order in any dress if it's not in stock or in my size?
If the dress is in stock with the supplier and available in your size then yes. However, some of our dresses are only made to a certain size and therefore might not be available to order in the size you need, but we will be able to tell you on the day if this is the case.
How long will it take for a dress to arrive if it needs to be ordered?
If the dress is in stock with the supplier, it will only take 2 - 3 days for it to arrive with us.
Do I have to pay the dress off in full or can I pay a deposit?
A deposit will secure your dress. You can pay the remainder off until the dress is collected.
Do you do alternations if needed?
No we don't do alterations but we have contacts for seamstresses if needed.
Bridesmaid Dresses FAQs
How long will it take for my bridesmaid dresses to arrive once ordered?
It is approximately 15 weeks for the dresses to arrive once ordered.
What sizes do you have in store to try on?
We have sizes 8 - 22 to try on in store, but all of our dresses can be ordered in sizes 4 - 32.
Can the dresses be ordered in any colour?
Our jersey fabric dresses can be ordered in 23 colours and our chiffon and matte satin fabrics can be ordered in 53 colours.
Do I have to pay the dresses off in full or can I pay a deposit?
To order the bridesmaid dresses we will need a deposit of half the price of the dresses. After the dresses are ordered you can pay the remainder off until you collect the dresses.
Do you do alternations if needed?
When ordering if you need the dress shortened or lengthened, our supplier can do that for you. However, we don't do any other alterations but we have some seamstress details at hand to give you if needed.
